The Power of Positive Thinking
(It Will Change Your Life!)

"The power of positive thinking is, with no doubt, the most effective technology I have added to my life"

The Power Of Positive Thinking

Are you feeling stuck in your life? At work? In your relationship? Do you feel you are becoming more bitter and stressed from life? Joy and happiness aren't part of your every day life? Things seem to be going wrong?

If you're really willing to start a process that will cause an enormous change in your life (and not only talk about change, but really feel change) then you really need to know about the power of positive thinking.

Implementing the power of positive thinking

This article will guide you on how to achieve the ability to think positive and will provide you with the right tools to practice it. Yet, before we start, you have to know that a real change in life takes time and work; there are no "fast food tricks" or "harry potter witchcrafts" and no shortcuts when it comes to going through a real change.

I promise to provide you with a few simple (yet efficient) tools that work and can really help you embrace the power of positive thinking and start the change you want! These tools aren't only words I read somewhere and copy-pasted them for you here, they aren't dandyish quotes about "being spiritual", they are part of a technology that I personally implement in my life and many others I know. The power of positive thinking has the strength and the intensity to help you channel your life, for the first time, towards the positive direction you've always wanted.

What is the power of positive thinking? And how does it affect our life?

The power of positive thinking is a mental attitude that brings into the mind positive thoughts, positive words and positive images that lead to growth, expansion and success. A positive mind anticipates and brings about happiness, joy, health and a successful outcome of every situation and action.

Yeah, I know, you're probably saying to yourselves right now "spiritual blah blah bullshit' it sounds like a bunch of "dandyish words" that have no connection to real life', right?

Well, that's not accurate. Not at all. And in order to explain myself and the power of positive thinking, I will use two very simple examples.

The first is a camera and its lens. There are so many different lens and filters you can put on the camera that will change what you see in the viewfinder of the camera. You can put a red filter and see the whole world in red, you can put a wide-lens and the world suddenly looks wider. Not only that, it's also where you point your camera, the camera's viewfinder is a rectangle, and wherever you point your camera - that's what you will see in your rectangle. What do you focus on? Do you point the camera to the ground or to the sky?

So how does this have to do with the power of positive thinking? it's exactly that, if we train ourselves to see the world in a positive filter, things around us will be and look more positive; if we consciously focus our viewpoints on the good and not the bad, that's what we are going to see, hear, feel, etc.

A good friend once told me "everything is visible, it's what you choose to see". Remember, every coin has two sides, every Yin has it's Yang, so every single thing in this universe has it's positive and its negative aspects about it. It's all about what you choose to see, where you put your focus. If you put your focus on the negative things about life, that's what your life is going to look and feel like, all of your energy will be put on negativity and about how life sucks, and about how you are the victim, and nothing tastes good, nothing feels good, and blah blah blah. But it's really about pointing your viewpoint on the positive aspects of life, it's a mere shifting of your inner reality, from focusing on the negative to focusing on the positive.

Here's another example: Let's say you own a small radio player that you take with you every where you go. Now let's say you're flying with this radio player abroad to a foreign country where you don't know the language, or the culture of the people who live there. The minute you get off the plane you turn on your radio player and automatically it tunes and picks up all the radio channels in the country you've just landed at. Did you ever think about how a radio player is able to do that? What was the action the radio did to adjust and fine tune itself to all those radio channels? And most important – where are those channels? Under the water? In the air? How is it that we don't see them if they exist?

The reason I give you this example is because the radio works exactly like our mind works. Radio waves travel through space in all directions, just as waves of water spread out when a stone is dropped into it. Each radio station is assigned a particular channel, or electrical path. We cannot see, hear, or feel radio waves in the air, but our radio, which has an antenna either on the inside or outside, picks up these waves from many stations at the same time. By turning the tuning dial, we can select the station we want to listen to. What happens is that the current in our radio, tunes into the same frequency as the radio waves sent out by the station you have chosen and only then we are able to hear the music from that channel.

This is similar to how our mind functions. Our thoughts create electrical waves that we're not able to see, hear or feel. These thoughts are transmitted to the air (just like radio waves). People who feel and think the same thoughts as we do tune themselves to our waves and approach our lives. This is why around cynical people you'll find lots of cynical friends and around optimistic people you'll find lots of optimistic friends. It's all about electrical waves.

These electrical waves we transmit from our thoughts draw also situations to our lives and not only people. For example: "I have a big interview tomorrow morning and I'm very nervous about it. It is a very desirable job and I feel I'm not good enough to get this job. Most people are more talented than me... I just don't have a chance". If this is what you're thinking, than let me tell you... this is most likely what is going to happen!

Not because you're really "not talented enough" but because these are the electrical waves you are transmitting from your mind to the world. So, naturally, this is what people will hear. Remember, whatever your mind expects, it will find. If we expect love, success, self-fulfillment, health, then this is what we'll get. If we expect failure, hardness, poverty than this is also what we'll get. It's your call!

Sound's too good to be true right? Why don't we all think positive if it's so easy?

Because it's not that easy. Life strikes us. It challenges us. And most of the time we deal with surviving day after day. Who has the time to think positive? Staying positive most of our day is a very complicated mission.

The power of positive thinking develops with time and practice. The human mind and body is programmed to be shut down and closed when something bad happens to it. So, within time we wrap ourselves with walls and barriers of criticism, negative sarcasm, anger, bitterness, antagonism, and much more negativity in order to survive. Yet, we don't know that these walls and boundaries block our wealth and abundance that we truly can have in our life.

The power of positive thinking is based on staying optimistic and positive all the time. Even when "bad things" happens to us, when someone annoys us, when we're sick, when we fail, when we get fired, when we don't see that light in the tunnel, when we're broken hearted... This is why it's so hard. We need to have a lot of faith that everything that happens in our lives can have a positive outcome, we just need to open our eyes and focus on the positive points and not on the negative ones.

So how do we train our minds to think positive?

First stage is to observe our thoughts. We have to be aware of our way of thinking. Are we angry most of the day? Do we disperse negativity every place we go? When do these negative thoughts take place? With whom? What are those negative thoughts about? Are there special issues that turn us to be more negative than usual?

I recommend you buy yourselves a small notepad that can fit in any pocket, so that you can take it with you wherever you go, and write down all the negative thoughts that pop up in your head. Do it for a whole week. Start by observing the things you say to other people, whether be on the phone, at work, to your mother, everywhere and anywhere. Do you focus on the negative aspects of things? Do you see only problems and not solutions? Write down the negative things you say, whether to others or to yourself.

Second stage is to read what you wrote and try to outline the issues of your negative thoughts by topics. See which issues appear often. Some people will be negative when it has to do with relationships, some will be bitter about money other will be bitter about how they look, it changes from one person to another. It is very important for us to be aware of our thoughts before we start practicing the power of positive thinking; this is the only way we can test if this 'power of positive thinking' technology really works.

In the third stage you should be much more aware of yourselves. You should already know when your own negative thoughts "attack" and burst out (so that the "war" is easier because we are now much more prepared).

This stage is all about the force of opposition (opposing your negative thoughts). The main idea of the force of opposition is to encourage a positive thought every time a negative one arrises. Or in other words, every time you start to focus on something negative, on the negative aspects of something, first be aware of it, and second, change it and put your focus on the positive aspects.

In the beginning it might feel very artificial. We will be thinking a negative thought like always (because we don't control it, it's an automatic response of our mind). For example: "I can't deal with this, it's too hard for me", in the minute this thought appears you should replace it with its opposite positive thought; for example: "It's a piece of cake. I can deal with this issue easily". At first this might feel strange and you won't believe yourself; it might feel weird and unconvincing.

Don't give up. Keep on saying to yourself the opposite and more constructive positive thought. Repeat this positive thought again and again. Say it to yourselves, say it to other people, and write it down if you need. The power of positive thinking is all about training you mind. It's like a gym for the muscles of the mind – it takes time to have strong muscles. I already told you in the beginning of this coaching session – the power of positive thinking reveals itself only by practicing it. No shortcuts remember? Within time, after you start replacing the negative thoughts with its positive opposite and repeat it for hundreds of times, your mind will start believing it, and so do you. This is when you'll start observing your life is changing in front of your eyes each and every day.

You are training your mind to look and focus on the positive aspects of things. You are training your mouth to say the positive side of things, seeing the solutions and not the problems. You are sanctifying your senses, clearing them and stripping yourself (slowly but surely) of the negative thoughts, words, feelings, etc. that envelop your daily lives. You will see that the more you delve into the positivity, the more you will feel it, it's like an ocean, the deeper you go in, the deeper and more vast it becomes. Let the positivity surround you like water, immerse yourselves in it and you will see that positive things will start sticking to you, you will pull in more positive people into your life, more positive experiences and feelings.

Acquiring the power of positive thinking might indeed be a long process but it's worth every minute of your time. It will draw happiness, wealth, joy, love, money; anything you wish to yourselves! It will effect each and every single action in your daily routine. From the minute you wake up in the morning until the minute you go to sleep. You will feel and see and hear the changes occur. The power of positive thinking is one of the most AMAZING techniques. I warmly suggest you to start practicing it!

Good luck and stay positive!
